Dr Komal Chopra

Dr Komal Chopra is the Principal Dentist at Epsom Smiles. She graduated from Peninsula Dental School in 2020 and has since developed a strong passion for general dentistry. She is committed to a holistic approach, focusing on a patient’s overall wellbeing as well as their oral health. Known for her gentle manner and personalised care, she aims to make every visit a comfortable and positive experience.

Alongside her core dental expertise, Dr Chopra holds a diploma in facial aesthetics and dental sleep medicine, allowing her to offer treatments that enhance health, confidence and quality of life. With a dedication to continual learning and patient-centred care, she delivers dentistry that is modern, comprehensive and tailored to each patient.

Dr Hewitt Yau

Restorative and cosmetic dentistry

Dr Hewitt Yau graduated from Newcastle University Dental School and is dedicated to a truly bespoke patient experience, combining clinical skill with a gentle, meticulous approach. He places great emphasis on understanding each patient’s immediate priorities as well as their long-term oral health, and patients consistently praise his thoroughness and compassionate manner.

Dr Yau stays at the forefront of modern dentistry by regularly attending conferences and advanced training led by world-renowned clinicians. He is completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and is an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Originally from Hong Kong, he also speaks Cantonese.

Dr Celine Reynolds

General dentistry and facial aesthetics

Dr Celine Reynolds qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 2015 before relocating to Newcastle upon Tyne for her Foundation Dentist training. She went on to spend the next ten years practising in the region, alongside running her own facial aesthetics clinic.

In early 2025 Dr Celine moved to Epsom with her family. She provides a wide range of dental and facial aesthetic treatments, combining clinical expertise with a keen eye for detail. By integrating dentistry and facial aesthetics, she helps patients look and feel like the best version of themselves.

Dr Deep Patel

Aesthetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants

After graduating, Dr Deep Patel completed his training year in South London and has been in general practice ever since, completing many courses along the way including the Totally Aesthetics Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. He has a particular interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry and provides treatments including teeth alignment, porcelain veneers and dental implants.

Dr Patel enjoys planning and transforming his patients’ smiles and helping them find their confidence again. He spends time getting to know each patient so that every treatment plan is tailored to their needs. Outside dentistry he is a loyal Arsenal fan, plays a range of sports and loves to travel.

Dr Jassar El Jabouri

Complex root canal treatment and re-treatment

Dr Jassar El Jabouri is a highly sought-after clinician with a dedicated focus on advanced endodontics, and is highly regarded for the management of complex root canal cases. With almost 20 years’ experience and over 9,000 root canal treatments, he gives patients the opportunity to save natural teeth that might otherwise be lost, including many complex and previously treated cases.

His expertise includes complex root canal therapy, re-treatment, vital pulp treatment, regenerative endodontic procedures, internal bleaching, extractions and second-opinion reports. Using microscope-assisted endodontics, he delivers highly precise and predictable outcomes, with success rates typically in the region of 90–94%.

He holds a DDS from Nijmegen (Netherlands), alongside an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health, and is a member of the British Endodontic Society and the American Association of Endodontists. He also has extensive experience as a principal dentist, clinical director, mentor and lecturer.

Erica Matta

Hygiene Therapist

Hygiene, nervous patients and children

Erica Matta is a qualified Dental Therapist and Hygienist who graduated from King’s College in 2025. Her career in dentistry began as a dental nurse, where she quickly discovered how much she enjoyed caring for patients and helping them feel at ease, which inspired her to progress her studies.

Erica is known for her warm, chatty and positive approach, always aiming to make appointments relaxed and reassuring, particularly for nervous patients. She has a special interest in working with children, creating gentle and engaging experiences that help them build confidence and healthy dental habits for life.

Lauren Elsey

Dental Nurse

Lauren is a dedicated trainee dental nurse with a genuine passion for oral health. She thrives on helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, whether they are visiting for a routine check-up or a more complex procedure, and takes pride in every part of her role, from chairside assistance to patient education.

Quinn Gingell

Dental Nurse

Quinn is a motivated and compassionate trainee dental nurse with a strong interest in a wide range of treatments, particularly surgical procedures such as extractions. She works closely with the dentists to make sure patients feel comfortable, relaxed and supported throughout their visit.

Denise

Front of House

Denise is the first person you will meet at Epsom Smiles. She looks after the front desk, bookings and the welcome every patient gets when they walk through the door.
