1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They're used widely to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.
2. How we use cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies. Strictly-necessary cookies don't require consent. Everything else (analytics, embedded video, etc.) we ask permission for via our cookie banner.
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are essential for the site to function. They cannot be turned off.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preferences | 1 year |
Analytics — only with your consent
These help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics — distinguishes users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics — persists session state | 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity — distinguishes users across visits | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity — links page views within one visit | 1 day |
Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used (scrolling, clicks, taps) so we can fix layout and usability problems. Anything you type into a form is masked before it leaves your browser.
Marketing — only with your consent
These let us measure whether our Google advertising brings people to the practice. We don't use them to build profiles or show you ads elsewhere.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads — attributes a booking or enquiry to the ad that was clicked | 90 days |
Embedded content — only with your consent
Our contact and emergency pages embed a Google Map so you can find us. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads; see Google's privacy policy for details.
4. Managing your cookies
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by:
- Clicking “Cookie settings” in the website footer
- Adjusting cookie settings in your browser — most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the website (e.g. form submissions, the cookie consent banner itself).
5. Other tracking technologies
We don't use fingerprinting. Until you consent, Google's tags run in a cookieless mode that sends no identifiers. If you accept marketing cookies, Google receives the fact that a booking or enquiry followed one of our ads so we can measure that advertising; we don't share analytics data with any other advertising network.
6. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The current version is always available here with a “last updated” date at the top.
7. Questions
