Emergency Dentist FAQs

Can I really be seen the same day?
In most cases, yes. We keep emergency appointments open each day for exactly this reason. Call us as early as you can on 01372 679192 and we'll find you the soonest slot.
Are you open on Saturdays?
Yes — but Saturdays are strictly by appointment only. We open between 9am and 1pm when there are emergency bookings, so please call ahead and we'll arrange a slot for you. As we only open on Saturdays for booked appointments, please don't turn up without calling first.
I'm not a registered patient — can I still come?
Absolutely. We welcome both new and existing patients for emergency care. You don't need to be registered with us to be seen.
How much does an emergency appointment cost?
Emergency appointments start from £60. We'll always explain any further treatment costs clearly before going ahead, and 0% finance is available on treatments from £500. See our price list for more detail.
What should I do for a knocked-out tooth?
Handle it by the crown (not the root) and keep it moist in saliva — hold it gently inside your cheek, or keep it submerged in a cup of your saliva. Don't scrub it or let it dry out. Call us immediately; the sooner you're seen, the better the chance of saving it.
What if it's outside your opening hours?
If you're in severe pain, have uncontrolled bleeding or significant facial swelling and we're closed, call NHS 111 for urgent advice. Otherwise, get in touch as soon as we reopen and we'll see you promptly.
